Family Portrait Sessions

Since I can remember, photography has always held a huge part in my life. 

From memories of sitting on the lounge in our family home, gathering around Mum, and or Nana, who had just picked up freshly developed from the local mini lab, viewing the latest roll of prints. Documenting those momentous occasions, for our family archives. Birthdays, holidays, gatherings with family or friends, school, sport achievements. You name it, it was photographed.

They are now extra special to me, as along the path of life, we’ve lost loved ones along the way. I understand how important a photograph can be. To hold a special memory, bringing back a certain feeling.

But it’s not all nostalgia and film. It’s about making the memories of the present time, to celebrate and capture the moments for future generations. It’s not all formal either, no hands-on knees, like school photos from my vintage. It’s about feeling relaxed, confident, and having the best bloody time of your life. It's about having the trust in someone like me, to capture and create those memorable experiences with you.

I recently came across a statement that really resonated with me, describing a particular group of thoughts and feelings, it wasn’t anything too hard to understand at all really. “You only get one chance at life, don’t waste it” and that my friends, is so true. So, I’m here for those moments, I’ll laugh and cry with you. It’s a guarantee. Life is there to be lived and I’m ready to capture it with you.
